Our Mission
At Bov-Info, we are firm believers that "you can't manage what you don't measure." Our practical and individualized approach strives to enable cattle producers to make informed herd management decisions through data collection and upkeep. This could be as simple as paper calving records, or as involved as recording individual cow parameters in an online platform.
We know how busy producers are, and how easily record keeping can fall to the way side. That's where we step in. Think of us as your herd’s dedicated secretary/bookkeeper!
Our Founder
With a passion for cattle, and enthusiasm for data, organization and attention to details, Sabrina Kendall was looking for a way to combine these traits into something that could benefit producers, and so, Bov-Info was born. While completing her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a Major in Animal Systems at the Univeristy of Manitoba, Sabrina dove head first into raising beef cattle, and has been growing her herd ever since. Upon graduating in 2019, Sabrina stepped into a role at a modern dairy farm where she's gained valuable experience maintaining records for a sizable herd across multiple platforms, as well as overseeing the implementation of the nationally mandated on farm food safety program, proAction. With her experience in crop and animal science research, crop and livestock primary production, and never ending quest for knowledge expansion and skill acquisition, Sabrina is a well rounded individual who enjoys working with producers and helping them achieve their goals!
How does this work?
Step 1- Gather info and extrapolate
Once you’ve reached out to us expressing your interest in our services, we will send you a short 10 question survey about your farming operations. We then use that information to determine what services we can provide that are best suited to your needs, and create a custom plan and quote for your farm.
Step 2- Pick and proceed
Upon receiving your custom plan, you then choose which aspects you'd like to adopt. At this point, we will arrange either an on farm visit or telephone call to work out final implementation and payment details.
